Call for Chapters: High Impact Entrepreneurship: Financial Services Industry and Development in sub-Saharan Africa
Researchers are encouraged to submit case studies on individual banks in sub-Sahran African countries (see criteria below). If a submission is accepted and successfully goes through the editorial process, it would be published in an edited book. The editor is Prof. Dana Redford (Founder of the Portugal Entrepreneurship Education Platform, and faculty member at the Catholic University of Portual and UC-Berkeley).
OBJECTIVES OF THE BOOK & CASE STUDY REQUIREMENTS FOR INCLUSION IN THE BOOK
Case studies of high impact entrepreneurship in the financial services sector in sub-Saharan Africa need to meet majority of the following criteria in order to be included:
-Financial Services Companies that started less than 10 years ago and that have more than 200 employees, with strong economic growth;
-Institutions with some degree of internationalization;
-Investment in human resources and talent retention (strategies such as intra organizational career mobility, work life balance, knowledge and skills utilization and competitive compensation;
-Strong corporate culture and brand that reflect the CEO and other organizational leaders (discussion of values, beliefs, mission and vision);
- Demonstrated concern for society through the development of corporate social responsibility initiative
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

A 2 to 3 page proposal should be submitted by November 30. Please contact us as soon as possible to indicate your interest so that the editors can provide further information, especially in terms of whether the financial services company selected for case study actually meets our requirements.
