    Responsibilities
    The College of Business Administration at Northeastern University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in International Business, effective September 2007. A concurrent capability to teach and research in Strategy or Entrepreneurship is required. Undergraduate teaching will be in the college's nationally ranked Bachelor of Science in International Business program as well as in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program. Graduate teaching will be in the full-time and part-time MBA, programs. Salary is competitive and negotiable, depending on doctoral status, rank and experience. Support for research is available.

    Qualifications
    Candidates must possess the doctoral degree and have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly research and to working with a diverse student population. Ph.D. Previous teaching experience and scholarly productivity is valued, as is previous business experience, particularly in a managerial capacity.

    The International Business Group: We have seven tenured members in our International Business Group: Henry Lane, Ravi Ramamurti, Sheila Puffer, Heidi Vernon, Edward F. McDonough III, Nicholas Athanassiou, and Christopher Robertson. In addition, there are six faculty members in other functional groups with primary research interests in International Business.     Research Support: Faculty members are expected to be active in research and publishing. Support is available in the form of summer funding, release time from teaching, graduate research assistants, and travel stipends for presentations at academic conferences. Research fellowships for tenure-track assistant professors are available on a competitive basis.
