The role is ideal for candidates who hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship and who have a sustained record of national/international excellence in research in Entrepreneurship
The Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre is located within the Faculty of Professions and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs (Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Master of Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Master of Applied Project Management). It has a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, systems, and project management.
Reporting to the Director of the Centre and working collaboratively with peers, including the Professor of Complex Systems and the Professor of Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation, the ideal candidate will have a global orientation and awareness and proven leadership skills.
This position requires a person who has a proven success record in leading an academic team with a research focus. In addition to having an excellent research track-record, the person will be able to develop early career researchers to become successful publishing researchers. He/she will also have experience in overseeing academic programs at the Bachelor and Master levels, and can adopt a strategic perspective in positioning these types of programs for success. The person must be a strategic thinker and be able to thrive in a close team environment as this position will play an integral role in developing the strategic direction of the entrepreneurship discipline.
The role is to be performed in such a manner as to promote the development of the research strengths within the Centre in accordance with the Faculty's vision which is aligned to the University of Adelaide's Beacon of Enlightenment 2013-2023 strategic plan.
