    Endowed Chair/Tenure-Track Faculty Position

     

    Position Summary

    The School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure track or tenured position. The rank is open, and application will be considered at the Senior Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor ranks. The position includes an appointment to an Endowed Chair. Start date is in the January 2016 or August 2016 timeframes.  Teaching is a 2-2 load. 

     

    Qualifications

    Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing or a related discipline, with a specialization in entrepreneurship. Proven effectiveness in teaching and research is required. Candidates must also be prepared to help lead entrepreneurship initiatives in the School of Entrepreneurship and across the Oklahoma State University campus.

     

    Additional Information

    Salary and benefits are highly competitive. Summer support is available on a competitive basis.  Bounty payments are available for top journal publications and travel stipends are offered for travel to academic conferences. The Endowed Chair is accompanied by a $5,000 per year budget that may be used for any legitimate academic purpose.

     

    The School of Entrepreneurship

    The School of Entrepreneurship is one of seven academic departments in the Spears School of Business. The Spears School of business is a leading business school located in Stillwater, OK.  Oklahoma State University is a member of the Big-12 Conference. The School of Entrepreneurship, which has received a number of national rankings and honors, has both undergraduate and graduate programs, including a vibrant PhD program. The School of Entrepreneurship is complemented by the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship, which is the outreach and student support arm of its efforts. The Riata Center supports two student new business incubators, called Student Startup Central and 36 Degrees North. Student Startup Central is adjacent to the Stillwater campus and 36 Degrees North is located in Tulsa, OK.
