    Hello everyone,

Based on several requests (arising from the beginning of a new school year and the recent conclusion of the Academy of Management meeting), we are extending the deadline for the Special Issue at Group and Organization Management till September 30th.

As noted in the Call for Papers, this Special Issue examines research on liabilities of newness and smallness over the past 50 and 30 years, respectively.  Thus, manuscripts examining critical issues related to how these issues affect new ventures and small firms fall within the topical coverage of the Special Issue. In addition,  research examining whether advances in technology (e.g., 3D printing, social media, and cloud computing) or increases in external aid (e.g., business incubators and local support programs for entrepreneurship) have helped mitigate these liabilities would also fit.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the Special Issue.  The full Call for Papers is available at http://bit.ly/GOMcallLoN.

    Best regards,

    Franz Lohrke
