  • 1.  Video Links to New Entr. Course for Freshmen

    Posted 08-23-2015 17:35

    Dear Marcos,

Here you go. I hope the five very brief videos below provideyou with more insight about our rationale for the new U-Course, where freshmen will start their own real business enterprises this fall.

Note that I have cc'd the ENTREP listserv here. The video links below are modeled after the "Interviews with Entrepreneurs" on grovo.com's training videos.

You should also note that we have drawn on the work of Daniel H. Pink, from his book "Drive: The Surprising Truth about What Motivates Us."  (2009). Key attributes: Autonomy, Purpose and Mastery.

Dr. Sandoe, my co-teaching colleague, and I believe that the Lean Business Canvas will be an effective tool for freshmen starting their own businesses; we will also show students the traditional business plan approach.

If we discover things that may be of interest to the listserv, I will be sure to post them.

PS Any feedback on the videos will be appreciated.
