Dear all,
I guess many of you are just back from a great conference experience in beautiful, sunny Vancouver. This email is to remind you that you can have a great conference experience in a beautiful, sunny location in February as well – if you submit an abstract to the 2016 ACERE Conference in Gold Coast, Australia. Well, actually you have nominally missed the boat because the submission site officially closed yesterday. But luckily, here's some news that may make it possible to participate all the same for all those of you who didn't know about us or missed the deadline due to all other demands on your time just after AoM:
1. Although we don't say so on the website, the submission site will actually remain open another week, i.e., until Monday 24 August 2015 at midnight AEST.
2. All that is needed right now is an extended Abstract, so you will have ample time to prepare the full paper in the coming months.
As usual, ACERE will offer both the nice location and the high scholarly quality you experienced at AoM. What we can't promise you is the competition of 10,000 other participants – ACERE is a boutique meeting of approx. 125-150 people. Expect standing in shorter lines for better coffee! More importantly, in terms of interactivity and feedback on your research, you should expect to be delighted! Our strong set of keynotes includes Saras Sarasvathy, Dean Shepherd, Bill Schulze and Charlene Zietsma, and these scholars will also serve as Chairs for our "Paper Development Sessions", which is one of the formats to which you can direct your submission.
