I have read the recent debates about teaching entrepreneurship. and echo the advice of Robert Barron, who says you need both academic research and practical experience.

In an effort to share insights with entrepreneurship faculty....I have been recording interviews with academics and practitioners for the past three years at AoM and elsewhere. Many of the videos we have shot have been featured on the Entrepreneurship Divisions web site. They are all available for you to use and share.

While I will still be shooting interviews with academics at AoM Vancouver about the practical implications of their research (What motivated your research? What did you do and what did you find? What are the implication for practice?) I am taking advantage of the Canadian location to create a MasterClass in Entrepreneurship by also asking a different question:

"Based on your research or experience, if you had ten minutes to provide advice to potential entrepreneurs, what would you say?"

If you are interested and able to do a short interview in Vancouver, on either the practical implications of your research, or for the entrepreneurship masterclass (or both), please book a time on doodle http://doodle.com/ha6dxw8ss7bfbqnb.  Interviews will be held in the Vancouver Convention Centre - with details of the exact location  sent out nearer the time.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions
