Imperial College Business School is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure track position in Innovation or Entrepreneurship at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates should have a primary interest in either innovation or entrepreneurship broadly defined and a secondary interest in design, technology transfer, or health care would be particularly welcome. Informal interviews will be conducted at the Academy of Management Meetings with formal interviews to be conducted at Imperial College Business School in October and November. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core and elective classes at an undergraduate and masters level as well having the opportunity to teach in our expanding executive education offering. Teaching loads are moderate and faculty are expected to publish innovative, rigorous, and relevant contributions in top academic journals. Salary is internationally competitive.
The Business School has been established relatively recently and is on course to quickly become a world-class player competitive with the best business schools in the world. The Business School currently has about 70 faculty working across all areas. The School's academics publish regularly in leading journals and produce research with high academic and practical impact. We have particular strengths in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Finance, and in Healthcare Management. Given Imperial's central London location, our academics have considerable interaction with national and multi-national companies. The I&E Department, in which the post will be based, currently has more than 20 academics and research associates working on diverse topics.
