Interested in doing research on new and emerging industries?

The goal of this PDW is to encourage interaction between academic researchers and industry professionals in the new and emerging industries of Car Sharing and App-Based Transport Networks. Join us and get some new research ideas!

Come hear the General Manager of Uber Seattle, Brooke Steger, talk about the latest controversies and forthcoming innovations at Uber.

We will also be joined by managers from three other firms at the leading edge of mobility innovation: the General Manager of Zipcar Vancouver (Mark Pribula), the Business Development Manager of Modo Carshare Co-op (Sylvain Celaire) and the Regional Manager of Car2Go Canada/Daimler AG (David Holzer).

We will also feature presentations from researchers in related fields:
Robin Lindsey: UBC Sauder School of Business, Transportation Economics
Larry Frank: UBC School of Population and Public Health, Urban Policy and Community Design
Thomas Clauß: Philipps-U. Marburg, Management and Innovation

The session is open but pre-registration is strongly suggested so that we can orient the session to the interests of the participants: https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg
