Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship

School of Business and Economics

The School of Business and Economics at Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) seeks candidates for full-time faculty positions in the area of Entrepreneurship starting at earliest convenience. Requirements: Candidates must have been granted or nearly completed a PhD in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or a related field. Applicants must demonstrate excellent research and teaching skills. More senior candidates should have teaching experience in both undergraduate and graduate programs, and a competitive research record that must include publications in peer-reviewed journals. Research orientation and productivity is a central aspect of our selection process. The main areas of interests are: strategy and entrepreneurship (new business creation process, start-ups, business growth, or corporate entrepreneurship), social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Other areas of management with a strong orientation to entrepreneurship are also welcome. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is recommended. Exceptional candidates without Spanish skills will have the opportunity to improve their language skills during the first year of employment.

UDD has two Campuses, equipped with state of the art technology. One of them is located in Santiago and the other one is in Chile's southern city of Concepcion, which is the 3^rd largest city in the country.
