Interested in sustainability, the "sharing economy" or urban mobility?
We would like to draw your attention to a cross-disciplinary PDW designed to facilitate interaction between academic researchers and industry professionals: Beyond the Automobile: Car Sharing, App-Based Transport Networks, Urban Mobility & Sustainability
The PDW will feature presentations from managers and executives at the following organizations, all at the leading edge of mobility innovation:
Brooke Steger: General Manager, Uber Seattle
Mark Pribula: General Manager, Zipcar Vancouver
Sylvain Celaire: Business Development Manager, Modo Carshare Co-op
David Holzer: Regional Manager, Car2Go Canada (Daimler)
We will also have presentations from researchers in related fields:
Robin Lindsey: UBC Sauder School of Business, Transportation Economics
Larry Frank: UBC School of Population and Public Health, Urban Policy and Community Design
Thomas Clauß: Philipps-U. Marburg, Management and Innovation
