    Endowed Chair in Business Ethics and Leadership

     

    The Department of Management in the College of Business invites applications for a tenured appointment beginning August 2016. The successful candidate will hold the Howard Hawks Chair in Business Ethics and Leadership and will have a research record commensurate with a Senior Associate or Full professor.  Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. degree in a business discipline or related field, and must have an established record of publication in top tier journals. Service on doctoral dissertation committees is desirable. Scholarly performance in the topic of ethics involving areas such as organizational behavior, strategy, human resources or organizational theory will be considered. We are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and interested in being active members of a rich academic community. Salary, benefits, and research support are very competitive and consistent with other Big-Ten universities.

    The college is in a period of tremendous growth. Enrollments have risen dramatically in the last five years, 50 new faculty have been hired, and new resources have enabled continued faculty hiring. Plans are underway for the construction of a new 240,000 square foot state-of-the art CBA building.     To apply go to http://employment.unl.edu and search for requisition F_150131. Click on "Apply to this Job" and fill out the form. Applicants must also upload: 1) a letter of interest, 2) a curriculum vitae, 3) a list of three references with contact information, and 4) one document containing: i) a sample of publications and current research, and ii) evidence of teaching experience and ability.
