POSITION: Assistant/Associate Professor of Strategy, Management, Entrepreneurship, Organization Theory
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 17, 2016, (Fall Semester)
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Strategic Management, General Management, Entrepreneurship, Organization Theory, or related areas. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2016. Demonstrated potential to teach Strategic Management and related management subjects effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Demonstrated potential for scholarship leading to publication, curriculum development, and service contributions to the department, college, university, and community. Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior teaching experience at the university level; related business, professional, or managerial experience; potential to develop relationships across the university’s surrounding community and published research in the field.
DUTIES: Teach at the undergraduate and graduate level courses. Primary teaching assignment will include undergraduate courses in Business Policy and Strategy, International Business Policy, Decision Making, Organization Theory, and Entrepreneurship. Faculty are expected to engage in research, scholarly and creative activities leading to presentations and publications, and participate in department, college, university, and community service activities.
