    Associate/Full Professor in Strategy

    Imperial College Business School

Imperial College Business School is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure track position in Strategy in its Management Department at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.  Candidates should have a primary interest in strategy broadly defined and a secondary interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, or health care would be particularly welcome. Informal interviews will be conducted at the Academy of Management Meetings with a formal application process to follow in September with interviews to be conducted at Imperial College Business School in October and November. The start date is negotiable but would normally be August 1, 2016.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach core strategy and strategy electives at a masters level as well as teach in our expanding executive education offering. Teaching loads are moderate and faculty are expected to publish innovative, rigorous, and relevant contributions in top academic journals. Salary is internationally competitive.

The Business School has been established relatively recently and is on course to quickly become a world-class player competitive with the best business schools in the world. The Business School currently has about 70 faculty working across all areas. The School's academics publish regularly in leading journals and produce research with high academic and practical impact.  We have particular strengths in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Finance, and in Healthcare Management. Given Imperial's central London location, our academics have considerable interaction with national and multi-national companies. The Management Department, in which the post will be based, currently has more than 40 academics and research associates working on diverse topics. You can find more about the Group's members and their research here.
