    POSITION: Tenure Track Faculty in Global Business Management 

    POSITION #: 1415-009

    EFFECTIVE DATE: Fall 2016 or earlier

    Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in Management, International Business, or a related discipline such as Cross-Cultural Psychology or Cross-Cultural Communication. Candidates must demonstrate teaching excellence, a record of published research commensurate with years of experience, and the ability to develop and sustain a research program that will lead to original, peer- reviewed publications. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with departmental colleagues and an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.

    Desired/preferred qualifications: Rank is Assistant level. Ideally, the applicant will have had relevant global business experience and have taught courses similar to those listed in the "Duties" section below; has an applied learning approach and has had foreign living and/or working experience; and has interest in furthering the development of the Global Business Management degree program. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research and/or service.

    Duties: The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses such as International Business Management, Leadership in a Global Context, Cross Cultural Negotiating in Global Business, and Management in Different Cultures. A secondary interest and experience in teaching entrepreneurship, strategy, leadership, international human resources, or sustainability is desired. This colleague will also be expected to sustain quality research and actively engage in activities serving the Global Business Management Option, department, college, university and community.
