    Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

     

    POSITION: The Ithaca College School of Business invites nominations and applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant/Associate Professor of Management to begin August 16, 2016. Rank will be determined by qualifications and experience.

     

    The successful candidate will conduct and publish high quality scholarly research in a collegial environment, in which both intra- and inter-disciplinary collaboration is valued, as well as teach courses in undergraduate and graduate programs in strategic management, entrepreneurship and other electives as needed by the college. Student advising and service to the Department of Management, School of Business, Ithaca College, and the profession are expected.

     

    The successful candidate will join a cohort of research-active colleagues in the Department of Management who have published in outlets such as: Strategic Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and Human Resource Management.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in a management discipline such as Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship or closely related field. ABD candidates at final stages with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may be considered. Evidence of having achieved excellence in classroom teaching is expected. Preference will be given to candidates with experience engaging students in the learning process through experiential/active learning methods such as collaborative projects, simulations, and/or case analysis. An established record or demonstrated potential for publishing high-quality/impactful research is required.
