    Dear colleague,

It appears there have been some issues with earlier posts/information regarding submissions to the 2nd World Open Innovation Conference (WOIC) for which the (extended) deadline is June 21 (midnight PDT). Therefore, I would just try to clarify that the relevant information about submitting a paper can be found at http://woic.corporateinnovation.berkeley.edu/call-for-papers and that the submission website is https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=woic2015 where the submission requirements are also listed.

Some key things to highlight is that we welcome abstracts based on full papers that contribute to the understanding of open innovation, and which as such have a clear academic and/or managerial relevance. The latter is especially important when you want to be considered for possible invitation to submit to the dedicated special issue in California Management Review with some of the papers presented at the 2nd WOIC. You will be able to indicate this information within the submission system together with whether you are eligible for the best student paper and best emerging scholar paper award. Also important to note is that the word limit for the extended abstract is 1,500-3,000 words, which is all inclusive (main text, tables, figures, references, etc).

I hope this message provides some final information for those considering to submit to the 2nd WOIC, and we are looking forward to handling your submissions.

    Best,
    Marcel
