Academia is experiencing increased interest in cross campus and cross-disciplinary educational initiatives. Non-Business faculty teaching subjects like visual arts, computer science, mobile technology, nursing, culinary arts, dietetics, nutrition, performing arts, ceramics, journalism, communications, animation, film etc., are eager to learn to teach business management and entrepreneurship concepts to their students to better prepare them for careers as self-employed professionals or entrepreneurs. In the European Union, Cross Campus Entrepreneurship Education (CCEE) efforts are driven by regional policy efforts, while in North America CCEE is driven by private foundations’ actions. One such example is The Coleman Fellows Program supported by The Coleman Foundation, where selected faculty from several universities join a national community of practice engaged in cross campus entrepreneurship education. The Coleman Fellows Program was designed to infuse entrepreneurship within non-business subjects across academia. This proposed workshop describes how The Coleman Fellows Program program operates and how Coleman campus directors manage it with support from university administrators. Coleman campus directors from five diverse universities will share their experiences in The Fellows Program. Workshop takeaways include pedagogical constructs developed by Coleman Fellows to infuse business and entrepreneurship concepts in several non- business disciplines. Panelists will provide insights on how to maintain open lines of communication with faculty and suggest methods for translating business and entrepreneurship concepts into a common language for non-business faculty. The proposed workshop will share best teaching practices, the challenges and suggested solutions for assessing outcomes and exploring alternative communication methods including the use of online meetings.
