Dear colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to participate in the following paper development workshop that Christoph Zott and I organize for the AoM in Vancouver:
Business Model Paper Development Workshop
To be held on Saturday, Aug 8 2015, 10:00AM - 12:30PM, at Vancouver Convention Centre in Room 204
The lead faculty involved in this PDW include: Raphael Amit (Wharton), Ramon Casadesus-Masanell (Harvard), Alfonso Gambardella (Bocconi), Tomi Laamanen (St. Gallen), Violina Rindova (Texas), and Govert Vroom (IESE).
The main purpose of the workshop is to promote research on business models by offering feedback from these experts on working papers to help scholars get their work published.
Please check
http://program.aomonline.org/2015/Session_Details.asp?print=true&SubmissionID=11007 for further details.
Please note that pre-registration is required. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that the paper is scholarly and fits within the domain of the workshop. The maximum capacity of the workshop, due to its highly interactive format, is 24 participants. If you are interested please be sure to send us your application a.s.a.p. including:
1. The most recent version of your research paper;
2. Any reviews received that you would like to share with the expert who will be giving you feedback, including acceptance/rejection letters and/or friendly feedback;
3. A cover letter that clearly explains your research, and the question(s) with which you are struggling and for which you hope to get inspiration.
Submission of these materials will be a pre-requisite for participating in the PDW. Applications should be sent to
y.snihur@tbs-education.fr<mailto:
y.snihur@tbs-education.fr>. Submission of an application implies availability to participate in the PDW. Deadline for applications is June 15, 2015 and the decisions about PDW participation together with the registration code will be provided by July 5th.
We look forward to seeing you at this PDW.
Best wishes,
Yuliya Snihur and Christoph Zott
