Funding opportunity for projects at the intersection of entrepreneurship and public policy
The Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise at Baylor University funds and facilitates research in entrepreneurship and public policy. The Center seeks to aid in the preservation of the competitive free enterprise system, including the vital small business sector of the economy. Our goal is to be a national leader in this area through research, teaching, and informing public policy.
We are now seeking to provide funding and other needed support for scholarship that addresses the relationship between public policy and entrepreneurship. Total funding available per year is $50,000 and awards for projects will range from $3,000 and up, depending on project needs. Funds awarded can be used for salary supplement or other research-related expenses.
Project proposals and applications for funding should be sent to the Center director Steve Bradley steve_bradley@baylor.edu . All projects addressing issues relating to both entrepreneurship and public policy, preferably the relationship, interaction, and interdependence between the two, are of interest. In accordance with the Center's funding and mission, all projects must include at least one Baylor University faculty member in their core project group to qualify. Application period is May 20-August 1.
