    Dear Colleagues,

I am aware you probably get one or more obscure conference call per week these days – but this is not one of them. This is about a conference you may want to consider. I'm talking about the ACERE – the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research Exchange – which is co-hosted by Griffith University on the Gold Coast, February 2-5, 2016. Here are some reasons to join us:

    1. A very strong group of invited international "stars" in key roles. For the 2016 conference we can boast Saras Sarasvathy Bill Schulze, , Dean Shepherd, and Charlene Zietsma (and it won't stop there).
    2. A highly developmental format throughout, and in particular for those who opt for a "Paper Development Session". In these you get comprehensive feedback from peers who have read your paper as well as from your chair, who is a highly experienced and recognized international researcher (including the above four people and myself). The conference also features a doctoral consortium.
    3. The conference is completely devoted to entrepreneurship scholarship and its size is manageable; some 100-150 participants, making for a very enjoyable experience.
    4. ACERE is a highly international conference, with 1/3 of participants coming from Europe and North America and with representation from a range of other countries in both hemispheres.
    5. If you're from the Northern hemisphere, February is a very good time to go...somewhere else, like Australia.

This is basically a teaser and date claimer. So please mark your diaries and start thinking seriously about coming down under for a high quality and highly developmental conference experience early next year. The call for submissions will be distributed shortly. See further our conference website, where you can register you can read testimonials from past participants and subscribe to our mailing list.

Welcome to Australia and the Gold Coast in February!

    Best Regards,

    Per
