If you are interested in being a speaker or a panel, or would like more information about this World Business Networking Congress, please contact the Guest Editor.
The papers submitted and accepted for the conference will be considered for inclusion in a Special Issue of Global Economics and Management Review (GEMRev) that will focus on Doing Well By Doing Good, or the alignment of private interest with the public good.
The topics of the Conference are in line with the emphasis GEMRev puts in systematic, multi-disciplinary research that attempts to bridge sectorial and disciplinary divides. Submissions can include both theoretical and empirical papers that introduce evidence-based studies or replication studies, case studies that bring multi-stakeholder perspectives. Studies could be at a micro or macro level. While far from exhaustive, the following list outlines potential topics that can be included in this Special Issue: New & Emerging Trends including the Circular Economy and the Sharing Economy; Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility; Creating Shared Value; Positive Externalities; Sustainability; Innovative Social Entrepreneurs; Risk Management; License to Operate; Innovation Policy and how to create incentives to innovate; Welfare and Well-Being; New Organizational Structures; New Business Models; New Sources of Innovation and Profitability; New Markets and Competitive Advantage; Opportunities at the Crossroads of Profit and Nonprofit Organizations; Innovations across Value Chain and Value Networks. Articles could have universal applicability or focus on specific geographic zones like Morocco, North Africa or the Mediterranean Region.

About: Global Economics and Management Review. GEMRev, indexed in Scopus, provides a locus for creating dialogs between disciplines and for a cross-fertilization to happen in the form of journal space guided by editorial norms committed to methodological pluralism. GEMRev aims to become a targeted and desired destination for substantively interesting conversations that break rigid methodological boundaries and abandon subfield-specific jargon to become truly multi- and inter-disciplinary research. GEMRev also welcomes research that challenges scientific orthodoxy, questions longstanding assumptions, and proposes constructive alternatives to widespread beliefs and interpretations. The journal specifically invites empirical studies that fail to support existing theories and replication studies in general. GEMRev is dedicated to quality and is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. Hence, while encouraging innovation and norm-breaking research, the editors expect scientific rigor, intellectual honesty and integrity from authors. Please visit GEMRev at
