    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

    The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management, effective Fall 2015. We are interested in candidates with Entrepreneurship, Family Business, Organizational Theory, or other supporting specializations. Salary is competitive.

    Requirements: Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline is required, with a research focus that emphasizes Strategic Management.  Additional expertise in entrepreneurship, family business, international strategy or international entrepreneurship, organizational theory, research methods, and/or technology & innovation is highly desirable. Other requirements include the demonstrated ability to pursue scholarly activities independently and collaboratively, evidence of teaching excellence, and the ability to contribute to the management curriculum. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching undergraduate and graduate strategic management and complimentary management courses as needed, and participation in academic and professional activities. Experienced applicants that have the capacity to work with PhD students are preferable. Appointment will be as an assistant or, possibly, associate professor in the College's Area of Management, depending on qualifications.

Research and teaching are supported by the Institute for Leadership Research, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business, and the Texas Center for Innovative Organizations. Our faculty has received many teaching honors and awards from the college, university and professional organizations.
