This note is in reply to Lois Shelton's question. (Hi Lois.)
40-50% of students in our intro entrepreneurship class are non-business students in the fairly new minor for non-business students. They do well. In one section two years ago the only students who made an A in the intro class (of about 45 students) were non-business students. Those who make it across campus for the minor tend to be very motivated. By contrast, many business students are in business school in order to get a job, not to make one. At least that's true at a school like Marquette.
When I was with Texas Tech, we didn't have a minor but many of my students were from across campus. Same as here, they tended to be highly motivated.
