Chairperson, Department of Management
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) College of Business invites applications for chairperson of the Department of Management, a tenured 12-month appointment, beginning July 1, 2015 (position pending funding).
The department has ten full-time faculty with undergraduate emphases in Management, Human Resource Management, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship and actively contributes to graduate programs in the college. Required Qualifications include a Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree in a field of Management from an AACSB-accredited university and an established record of excellence in teaching and research to support appointment as a tenured professor of Management. Administrative experience and success in establishing external business and professional relations preferred.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate (1) administrative and leadership ability, (2) commitment to student success, (3) excellence in teaching in an area of Management, and (4) an established record of research.
