  • 1.  Re Teaching Case Writing

    Picking up on Norris' question:  "Teaching case writing is quite the art form so ...  WHO are the best case writers that you respect/admire/envy?"

     

    Identifying the best case writers may not help anyone identify great case writing teachers, although it might be a fun and instructive conversation to compare and contrast who our favorite case writers are.

     

    As for teaching case writing, my most recent, and excellent, experience has been with Gina Vega.  She also has published a helpful book "The Case Writing Workbook: A Self-Guided Workshop."  (Full disclosure:  she is my colleague!  Many of our faculty members have become great case writers thanks to her instruction.)  Twenty years ago, I also had great experiences in workshops at the Ivey School of Business (Western Ontario).
