  • 1.  Last call: 1st World Open Innovation Conference

    Dear ENTREP readers,

    July 15 is the deadline for abstracts for the 1st annual World Open
    Innovation Conference. The conference is co-hosted by Henry Chesbrough
    (UC Berkeley), Frank Piller (RWTH Aachen), Chris Tucci (EPFL) and Joel
    West (KGI) and will be held December 4-5 at the Silverado Resort in
    Napa, California

    The initial submission is an extended abstract of 1,500-3,000 words.
    Authors accepted to the program will have until November 15 to produce a
    complete paper. The program will also include research problems
    submitted by industry participants.

    Friends -- this is likely to be an amazing conference. If I had any money I'd have an abstract in already. 

    This is going to be one of THE areas for the next few years -- even though (and probably because) the practitioners are out front. Possibly Joel & Marcel Bogers have brainwashed me but this could be... wow!
