    Dear Academy Member,

    We are pleased to invite you to join us for an exciting PDW on "Global
    Coopetition Research: Opportunities and Challenges" to actively
    participate in the current engaging discourse on global coopetition
    research opportunities and challenges.

    1. Time and Place: Friday, Aug 1 2014, 11.15AM – 12.45 PM at
    Pennsylvania Convention Center in Room 202 A
    Sponsors: International Management Division

    2. PDW Description: The key goals of this PDW at the Academy of
    Management Annual Meeting (Philadelphia) are:
    a. To critically assess the progress of coopetition research,
    b. To outline issues and challenges involved in further advancing
    co-opetition research from both theoretical and empirical perspectives
    c. To help participants in overcoming some of the challenges faced by
    them in coopetition research
    d. To map future research opportunities
    e. To identify best practices for advancing cumulative co-opetition research

    In order to achieve the goals of this workshop, we have included
    leading scholars from around the world as panelists, and ask
    participants to send the specific issues faced by them in advancing
    their coopetition research, and allocate significant time for the
    round table discussion to be led by the panelists. Please sign-up for
    this PDW in advance in order to fully benefit from your participation.
