Want your students to really learn, while you generate a high level academic mainstream publication! Consider encouraging your students to do a crowdfunding project. It has led to a natural experiment, that three of us are targeting for a high level journal, e.g., JBV, and for an article in practitioner journal (probably aimed at Business Horizons). Also if you want to encourage the hardest working group of students I have ever met, contributions are welcome (see link below)
Also since is an extreme form of entrepreneurial marketing, it is a great teaching tool for the students. Three of my students are doing it as an independent study, and for two of my entrepreneurial marketing courses it is a source of constant dramatic examples in just about every class session.
I can let you know all about it Mid April when I get a chance to breath. But I am including the link below in case you wanted to follow the campaign, so you discuss it in your classes, in real time. Here are details.
