    Key things you need to know:

    * The workshop is for traditionally under-represented minority PhD students (post comp) or early faculty (ABD faculty who have 1 or 2 (max) years at their first position)
    * The workshop will be June 12 - 14 here on campus at Washington University in St. Louis
    * Expenses are paid
    * There will be presentations, panels and networking events intended to help them be successful in both research and in teaching
    * Sample topics (covered the last time) included:
    * First year foibles and follies
    * The art of story telling: Selling your research
    * Maintaining the flow of research over time
    * Why I rejected your manuscript: Making it through the review process
    * Jackson Nickerson will conduct a seminar on using his award winning Critical Thinking curriculum
    * etc.
    * In addition, for those willing, we hope to have short "mentoring" sessions with senior faculty in each participant's area
