Dear all,
I'm currently looking for anecdotes or examples where a *single*
innovation or trend developed within "cultural industries" has helped to
spawn multiple kinds of ventures (preferably spilling over outside the
cultural industries).
I follow other studies in org theory that cite "cultural industries" as
those involved in the creation of non-utilitarian products or services,
where meaning is more ambiguous and open to interpretation. Entertainment
and fashion are two very broad terms associated with these industries.
I have searched online for a while, but it's difficult to find documented
anecdotes. Any leads from this listserv's community are appreciated!
Regards,
