  • 1.  campus-wide entrepreneurship minor

    Hi Entrepreneurship Division members

    We would like your help.

We are in the early stages of developing a university-wide entrepreneurship minor. We know many of you and your institutions have done so, and we would like to drawn on your experience.

Does you institution have a university-wide entrepreneurship minor? Is it under the direction of the Business School or an institute/center associated with the Business School? Are the courses offered in the minor developed for non-business majors, or are non-business majors allowed to participate in the same classes as business majors, or a combination both? Do/have Faculties/Schools other than Business play an active role in the design of the content and delivery of the program?

We are also interested in the extent to which students from non-Business faculties are a participating in the minor.

I am not asking you to answer these questions personally, but if your institution has developed a program which responds to these and other issues related to a university-wide program, could you direct me to webpage or other source of information about your program.

    Please reply to robert.anderson@uregina.ca

    Thanks

    Dear Robert,

We’ve developed a special entrepreneurship stream (similar to a minor) which is parented by non-Business Faculties and provided by us. We also have a suite of campus-wide electives which any student (Business and non-Business) can take.

Further information here, and happy to discuss.
