    POSITION DESCRIPTION – 991275

    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

    Department of Management Programs at the Florida Atlantic University's College of Business seeks an Assistant Professor with expertise in Strategy/ Entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have a completed PhD in Business Administration from an AACSB accredited university by the time the position commences in August 2014, proof of potential for high-impact research, and some teaching experience.  The candidate must be able to teach the core undergraduate strategy class in a live, streaming video environment. Hiring is subject to funding. The position will remain open until January 31 or until filled.

    All candidates must apply through FAU's People Admin at http://jobs.fau.edu, position 991275. The application must include a cover letter, CV, and three letters of reference uploaded by the candidate or emailed directly to the search committee chair Andac Arikan at aarikan@fau.edu. Transcripts for faculty positions must be an official copy scanned into an electronic format and attached to the application. Degrees from outside the United States must be validated by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation Service (NACES), with an indication of the documents the evaluation was prepared from (official transcripts, diplomas, dissertation abstracts). The evaluation should be scanned and electronically attached to the application

    Florida Atlantic University is an aspirant Research 1 university. The College of Business is located in Boca Raton with a campus in Davie. Management Programs is upper division at the undergraduate level and has a doctoral program.
