    Dear Entrepreneurship Listserv Members:

    Good afternoon from Chico, CA.

My name is Curt DeBerg, and I am the director of Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE). The purpose of this email is to introduce you to SAGE and ask that you share this email with any of your university students who are interested in social enterprise.

    SAGE works like this.

    (1)    A group of at least three teens are identified; these teens want to start their own, real-life business ventures. The business can either be a social enterprise or a commercial enterprise.

    (2)    Your university business students become consultants and mentors to these younger protégés, who are part of a new SAGE team; meetings are conducted via Skype.

    (3)    At the end of the year, the high school SAGE teams compete for prize money, and have the chance to present their business ideas to potential funders at local, national and international tournaments.

Please let me know if you would like more information.

    Sincerely,

    Curt
