On behalf of the USASBE Board of Directors and the Neeley School of Business at TCU, I am very pleased to extend this special invitation for you to attend an outstanding conference with wonderful publication, recognition and award opportunities for you, for your entrepreneurship program and for your school.

The 2014 Annual Conference of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship will be held in Fort Worth January 9-12, 2014. Since this important event will be taking place in our proverbial back yard, I hope that you will make plans to attend and participate in a truly innovative, insightful and rewarding program. We are excited to feature noted scholars and practitioners who are leaders in the field of entrepreneurship research, education and teaching. In addition, we will recognize model undergraduate, MBA and doctoral programs, present the most leading edge developments in entrepreneurship pedagogy, feature entrepreneurs with powerful stories and provide experiential pre-conference workshops and learning journeys.

The program will also focus on the entrepreneurship eco-system of North Texas through the support and participation of the North Texas University Entrepreneurship Consortium. The Consortium consists not only of the Neeley School at TCU but also the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, the School of Business at the University of North Texas, the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington, and the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.

This is a wonderful opportunity to network with those who share a passion for entrepreneurship, who are forging new methodologies and approaches for entrepreneurship research, and who are creating and implementing breakthrough strategies and tactics in the classroom. We promise a truly memorable and useful experience that combines great research and fascinating presentations with outstanding networking and a terrific time!

So please submit your papers, cases and workshops by August 30. Click here for more details. See you next January. And bring your boots and hat!
