RUTGERS BUSINESS SCHOOL Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Position in Entrepreneurship
The Department of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick (http://business.rutgers.edu/) invites applications for a tenure track position in Entrepreneurship starting in September 2014. Faculty rank is open depending on qualifications. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding research potential and have an active research program, excellent teaching capabilities, and willingness to engage in service activities. Applicants should have a doctoral degree granted or nearly completed (i.e., ABD). This position provides a strong scholar the opportunity to provide intellectual leadership to the still emerging field of entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will work with well-established researchers in the areas of social entrepreneurship, urban entrepreneurship, and technology and innovation management, as well as with the flourishing Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development http://business.rutgers.edu/CUEED) Teaching will include undergraduate and graduate courses in our growing entrepreneurship programs and supervision of doctoral students. Faculty members are expected to teach on both campuses and are assigned an office on either campus depending on needs.
In addition to faculty in entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation, the Department of Management and Global Business has world-renowned faculty with specialties in strategy, international business, ethics and corporate social responsibility, cross cultural management, diversity, organization behavior, and organizational justice. Rutgers Business School is located in the New York metropolitan area and spans campuses in Newark and New Brunswick. We opened a new Business School Building in Newark in 2009 and opened a new Business School Building in New Brunswick in the fall of 2013.
