    Position Summary

    The School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University invites applications from candidates for Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship.  Start date: Spring 2014 or Fall 2014.  Responsibilities include teaching, research and service in entrepreneurship.  Teaching is a 2-2 load.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must possess a doctorate degree in Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing or a related discipline, with a specialization in entrepreneurship.  A proven track record of effectiveness in teaching, research, and the mentoring and development of junior faculty and doctoral students is required.  Candidates must also be prepared to help lead entrepreneurship initiatives in the Spears School of Business and across the Oklahoma State University campus. 

    Additional Information

    Salary and benefits are highly competitive.  Support for faculty research includes bounty payments for "A" journal hits and travel stipends for presentations at academic conferences.  There is the possibility of the appointment to an endowed chair depending on the successful candidate's research record and other accomplishments.   

    The School of Entrepreneurship

    The School of Entrepreneurship is one of seven academic departments in the Spears School of Business.  The Spears School of Business is a leading business school located in Stillwater, OK.  Oklahoma State University is a member of the Big-12 Conference.  In 2012, the School of Entrepreneurship's graduate program was ranked #14 in the nation by Princeton Review and its undergraduate program was ranked #22.  In 2013, it was ranked the #22 overall entrepreneurship program in the country by U.S. News and World Report.  The School of Entrepreneurship is complemented by the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship, which is the outreach arm of its efforts.  The School of Entrepreneurship has a vibrant PhD program focused on training future entrepreneurship scholars.
