    Dear ENT scholars

Apologies for cross-posting. I would like to call your attention to the following PDW at the upcoming AOM annual meetings in Orlando.

Engaged Scholarship on Capitalism in Question: Participatory Social Entrepreneurship Research

    http://program.aomonline.org/2013/Session_Details.asp?print=true&SubmissionID=13366

The primary objective of this PDW is to create a learning community or research platform on the engaged scholarship (ES) about social entrepreneurship (SE) areas. This PDW aims to engage leading scholars in the field as well as interested researchers: (1) to foster ES on SE research areas, (2) to facilitate a learning environment about ES on management related 'big questions,' and (3) to cultivate ways of achieving ES in our professional journeys as management scholars. In this PDW, we focus on lessons learned, ideas for further research, routines for fostering integration of ES and SE for our scholarship, and "next steps" for creating a community. The PDW will also include a distinguished panel of scholars: Andrew Van de Ven, Timothy Devinney, Laurie Lewis, Youngjin Yoo, and Maurizio Zollo.

1.Time and Place: Friday, August 9, 2013. 12:30~2:30 PM at WDW Coronado Springs Resort in Yucatan 1

    2. Format: Leading scholars in ES about SE research will share their experiences and unique lessons with participants. In a group discussion, all participants will share their research cases, and challenges they encountered while pursuing ES on SE area. Based on reflections and feedback from discussion groups, the PDW will be closed with synthesizing and mapping the comments into a potential agenda or roadmap for research.

    3. Pre-registration: Please visit the AOM PDW Registration site below. Registration is limited to 30 participants, so please complete pre-registration as early as possible.
