Assistant Professor of Management at University of Richmond
The Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond invites
applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of
Management, with a specialization in Strategic Management, beginning in
August 2014.
The successful candidate will display the following characteristics:
1. Demonstrated teaching excellence. The candidate selected to fill the
position will teach core undergraduate and MBA courses in Strategic
Management. Generally undergraduate classes are scheduled during the day,
but MBA classes meet once a week, in the evenings, Mondays through
Thursdays, from 6:30 - 9:10 p.m.
2. Strong record of scholarly achievement evidenced by articles published,
forthcoming, or in advanced stages of review at high-quality academic
journals.
Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in business
organizations. Internationalization is a Robins School strategic
initiative. A strong interest or experience in international business is
a plus.
A Ph.D. in Strategic Management or related field is required. ABDs will be
considered, but must have completed the Ph.D. degree by the start date.
