The successful candidate will be appointed to the rank appropriate to their qualification and experience.

Appointment will be made in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Division. The OBHR Division is composed of faculty members with specialties in organizational behaviour, organizational theory, human resources and labor relations, who come from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. Applicants for all disciplinary backgrounds working in any of these areas are encouraged to apply.

Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs, an ability to supervise Ph.D. students, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Division and the Sauder School of Business. Candidates at the senior level will be expected to provide leadership that will enhance the reputation of the OBHR Division and the School. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.  Subject to budgetary approval, the anticipated start date is July 1, 2014.

However, Canadians and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority.  Information regarding hiring is available on our website at: http://www.sauder.ubc.ca/Faculty/People/Faculty_Openings.

Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research papers (i.e., one or two recent published research papers or current working papers), a teaching dossier or record of teaching effectiveness, if applicable and three reference letters.
