    Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 4th Annual GW-ICSB Global Entrepreneurship

Every October in Washington DC, leading members of the entrepreneurship research and public policy communities descend upon the city to discuss the latest trends in business creation. This year is no different, as we focus on the theme of 'New Possibilities' to build a bridge to today's entrepreneurs.

Over three (3) days, opportunities for participants to gain knowledge and network with key decision makers in Washington DC will be significant. The state of the art in entrepreneurship will be discussed from both a public policy and academic perspective. By the end of the conference, participants will walk away with a better understanding of how business creation leads to job creation.

For Public Policy Makers, this conference offers two (2) key panel sessions focused specifically on entrepreneurship policy objectives. For Researchers, this conference offers a one (1) day, double-blind peer reviewed academic program with indexed proceedings sponsored by the Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM). For practitioners, this conference offer specialized training sessions from partners like OPIC and GEM, in addition to the programs for public policy and academic presentations.

The organizing committee of this conference welcomes the participation of all our partners focused on new businesses and job creation. There are a number of opportunities for collaboration while we are still in planning stages and they will be very happy to discuss further with you. Please contact either Ayman El Tarabishy (ayman@gwu.edu) or Michael Battaglia (icsb@gwu.edu) at the George Washington University to start the discussion today!
