    Theme:
    Theories, Methods, and Applications in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and
    Sensemaking by Individuals, Firms, Governmental Agencies, NGO, Cities,
    Regions and Nations

    The Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy (GIKA) Annual Conference
    provides a platform to discuss challenges pertaining to contemporary
    issues in Innovation and Knowledge. The 2nd GIKA Annual Conference will
    be held in the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of
    Valencia, Spain, from July 9th (Tuesday) to July 11th (Thursday), 2013.
    The Journal of Business Research (JBR) is the sponsorship journal for
    the Academy. One of the aims of the Conference is to select high
    quality papers from the conference to publish in a special issue of the
    JBR.

    Special session “Meet the editor”. In addition to the regular paper
    presentation, GIKA proudly presents "to meet the editor" session. The
    editor-in-chief of JBR, Professor Arch. G. Woodside will have a face-to-
    face session with the participants. In this session, Arch will explain
    JBR’s mission, editorial process, recent submission trends etc. The
    objective of the session is to help prospective authors understand what
    it takes to get published in JBR, and why papers get rejected.
    Participants will have an opportunity to interact with Arch.

    GIKA 2012 was a great success with researchers from 15 countries. GIKA
    2012-acceptance rate in the special issues: 90%

    Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be under
    consideration for publication elsewhere. Send one copy in the form of a
    MS Word file attached to ribeders@uv.es
