To ENT DIV Members:
As we get closer to the paper submission deadline for AOM 2013, it has
come to my attention that about 50% of the reviewers who have signed up to
date to review for the division are in various stages of their PhD
programs. This has led me to recognize the need for additional faculty
reviewers to sign up. We especially need more senior faculty to be
willing to participate.
While we are deeply appreciative to all the PhDs for their service in
registering as reviewers and see this as an exciting learning opportunity
for them, we need to strive as a Division for a greater balance between
more senior faculty and early/late PhDs and ABDs as reviewers. I look
upon faculty involvement as reviewers as service to our field of
Entrepreneurship during the Academy’s Annual Program and I highly
encourage faculty to sign up as reviewers. In this way we can strike a
better balance of judgment for the papers during the review process.
With the submission deadline fast approaching, please sign up as reviewers
now before assignments are made to the papers.
