    This is the third of four searches:

     

    Searches already posted to the ENTREP ListServ include:

     

    1. Associate Professor or Professor, Wolff Chair in Strategic Entrepreneurship, tenured.

     

    2. Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior, in-residence (i.e., non tenure track).

     

    A fourth position, Assistant Professor in Management, will be posted shortly. Candidates for assistant professor are encouraged to apply for both the open rank and assistant professor positions.

     

     

     

    University of Connecticut Job Posting #3 of 4:  Tenure Track Position: Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Management

     

    Job Summary:  The Management Department in the School of Business, The University of Connecticut invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track, open rank position in the Management Department beginning Fall, 2013 at the main University campus at Storrs.  The position is full-time, 9 month appointment that will be located primarily at the Storrs campus with the possibility of work at UConn's regional campuses across the state.  This position is responsible for research, teaching, service and outreach.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    Minimum Qualifications for Assistant Professor rank: 1) completed Ph.D. in management or related field, or expected by August 2013, 2) publications, or potential to publish, in premier management journals, and 3) demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education. 

     

    Minimum Qualifications for Associate or Full Professor rank: 1) Ph.D. in management or related field, 2) a record of scholarly productivity that would support appointment to the rank of tenured Associate (with developing national reputation) or Full Professor (established national reputation) of Management, including publications in premier management journals, 3) a research pipeline to support sustained scholarly contributions, and 4) demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.  

     

    Preferred Qualifications:  We will give preference to candidates who complement department needs, have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated collegiality, ability to contribute through research, teaching, service and/or community engagement to the diversity and excellence of the Department's mission, and demonstrated interest in training doctoral students.

     

    Appointment Terms:  Compensation will be highly competitive and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience, and consistent with School of Business and University policies.  Candidates who meet the minimum and preferred qualifications at the rank of Associate or Full Professor may be considered for the administrative appointment as Department Head.  Appointment term for Department Head is 10 months.
