The topic is 'The Role of Location in Achieving Global
Competitiveness', and the goal is to advance new theoretical frontiers
regarding the role of unique local resources, strategic practices,
institutions, government support, as well as inter organizational
synergies to explain firm success in global markets.

My colleague Luiz Mesquita and I are co-editing this issue.
We are pleased to invite you to consider submitting a research paper
    to this initiative.
