Final Opportunity to submit your empirical and proposition/action research papers,
or symposia/panel session for review for the 56th annual Midwest Academy of Management meeting!
All submissions are due for the final deadline by Monday, June 17 at 11:59 p.m.
This year we will be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the InterContinental Hotel from October 10-12. The theme is "Innovating and Navigating Across Interdisciplinary Boundaries," which looks at how leadership and management disciplines reach across disciplinary lines to discover ways to rethink and innovate solutions in today's complex world.
Our keynote speakers will be Dr. Ramon "Ray" J. Aldag, Glen A. Skillrud Family Chair in Business, and Professor in Management and Human Resources at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and in the HR track, special contributor, Dr. Belle Rose Ragins, Professor of Organizations and Strategic Management at the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Visit our website-midwestacademyofmanagement.org-to get all the information, see the Call for Papers, join the Midwest Academy (it's only $50), and then pre-register for the conference.
Interested in getting feedback on ideas/research you are incubating? Want to demonstrate a practical solution for a teaching/learning problem? The brand new concept of lightning rounds gives you a chance to present Pecha Kucha-style and get colleague feedback. For these 15-minute sessions, presenters should plan for 5 minutes of presentation plus 10 minutes for discussion and questions (not blind reviewed).
Whatever your interest-teaching, research, management education-we have it scheduled!
Submissions are now being accepted electronically on our website. Don't have a paper to send? Please volunteer to be a reviewer. Sign up here to review.
Look forward to seeing you October 10-12 in Milwaukee!
Marilyn J Bugenhagen, PhD
2013 Midwest Program Chairperson
