    Dear Colleagues:

     

    I am delighted to share that Career Development International has received its first impact factor of 1.014. I'd like to thank CDI's editorial advisory board members, authors and the hundreds of reviewers for contributing their time and talent to the journal. Associate Editors, Tom Stone (Oklahoma State University, USA), Nikos Bozionelos (Durham University, UK), Julia Richardson (York University, Canada), and Bert Schreurs (Maastricht University, Netherlands) deserve special mention for their dedication to providing high-quality and constructive feedback to potential contributors. The Editorial Team greatly appreciates the support of Nancy Rolph, publisher of Career Development International at Emerald Publishing Group.

     

    The scope of CDI encompasses mainstream career research as well as research addressing topics in the broad areas of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior that have implications for careers and managing careers. CDI publishes theoretical papers, review articles offering new insights and research directions, qualitative and quantitative studies, and special issues on topics dealing with important issues, concerns and emerging trends. The journal is indexed and abstracted in Social Sciences Citation Index(c), Journal Citation Reports / Social Sciences Edition and Current Contents(c)/Social and Behavioural Sciences. Potential authors are encouraged to visit the journal's homepage to peruse previous issues of the journal and learn about the submission process.
