  • 1.  Opportunity Evaluation Measurement...

    Posted 09-01-2012 10:46

    Dear Entrep Community Members,

I was wondering if anyone knows or has done work that involves measurement of opportunity evaluation (except Keh, Foo, & Lim, 2002 which I already have)? I am looking for published journal articles or unpublished studies (conference papers etc.) where opportunity evaluation is the variable of interest. I am already familiar with the excellent work by Keh, Foo, and Lim (2002) on this topic, so I am looking for other different ways to measure individuals' evaluation of new opportunities. You can send your responses off the list-serve and I will be glad to share all responses with anyone who is interested.

    Thanks in advance,

    VK

    Vishal:

The most commonly used framework for evaluating opportunities is the seven domains framework outlined in The New Business Road Test (Mullins, London: Pearson 2003, 2006, 2010). It lends itself to systematic assessment, though I am not aware of any empirical studies that have used it in that way.

    Best,

    John
