Dear PhD candidates, junior researchers and faculty,
You are cordially invited to submit a paper to PREBEM 2013 hosted by the
University of Amsterdam and VU University Amsterdam. This is the
conference for PhD candidates in Business Economics and Management. And
will take place on March 22nd, 2013. The conference, with the theme
Creativity and Innovation – A Roadmap to the Future, will be held at the
Amsterdam Business School.
The keynote speakers will be Prof. Gerard George (Imperial College London;
current associate editor AMJ) and Sean Carney (Chief Design Officer at
Philips).
PhD candidates are invited to submit a short paper or proposal (3000
words) before December 1st 2012. The call is aimed towards papers about
any topic related to Business Economics and Management, and with a
preference for papers related to the theme.
The conference tracks are:
• Finance and Accounting
• Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship
• Organizational Behavior
• Marketing
• Information and Innovation Management
• Operations Research and Logistics
All submissions will go through a double blind review process. To submit a

Fleisher (VU), Anouar El Haji (UvA), Monika Kackovic (UvA), Christel
Karsten (UvA), Bram Kuijken (UvA), and Natalya Martynova (UvA).
PREBEM is the Dutch organization for PhD researchers in Business Economics
and Management, which is embedded within the Netherlands Organization for
Researchers in Business Economics and Management (NOBEM). Currently, 11
Dutch universities participate in NOBEM.
